10. Icthus is a place that loves kids! Kids are a part of our lives, we believe that as a church we are family and families help look after each others children when they are together.
9. Icthus is a family! We believe that since we are a family united in Christ that we have a responsibility to share with each other, and hang out with each other during the week, not just on Sundays.
8. Icthus Is NOT a clubhouse! If you are looking for a church where you can just go to hang out and have people see you there, Icthus is not for you. Icthus is a place where people can share life experiences as they continue on their journeys to be more Christ-like.
7. Icthus is a place where you can come to figure life out. There is no expectation that you come to Icthus as a perfect, sinless person. "For all have sinned," we are not a church of judgemental people but a church full of people who want to help you figure life out together.
6. Icthus is a place where you can realize what LOVE truly is. You can come and see that God's amazing love can cover over all of your past sins. And realize how God's love can give you a peace and stillness in your life.
5. Icthus is a place that is TIRED of "churchy" people. Jesus didn't tell us to be "churchy". He told us to love each other! Sitting in a service each week is not the goal in our lives, the goal is to attain a relationship with Jesus that gives us a passion to share his love in a real way.
4. Icthus is a place where you can come as you are! We believe its not how you dress, or how you look that's important. What's important in this world is that our hearts are dedicated to serving God and loving each other. We feel that you can dress however you feel comfortable to worship in, the key is that you are worshipping.
3. Icthus is a place full of interesting worship. Worship is about knowing God. It's not just about singing songs! We worship through song, through scripture, through videos, and in many other amazing ways.
2. Icthus is a place of real people. We feel that one of the most important things in a church is that the people are real. We are tired of "fake" Christians. God loves us, and we shouldn't have to act fake to be loved by Godly people.
